The
shore of Sanur have always played host to visitors and invaders to
Bali. An inscription engraved on a stone pillar at Belanjong, just
beyond Hotel Sanur Beach, commemorates victory in a battle against
invaders by the Raja Sri Kesari Warmadewa, also known as Udayana.
After dark, Sanur takes on a magic cloak. Gamelan music echoes on the
sea breezes, and lights flicker along the shore. And there are
traditional dance performances in the restaurants and hotel to be
seen. Here you can play Canoe and jetsky.
